iPads 7th grade Spanish

The 7th graders are the most experienced of all my Spanish classes using Skype.  They are so accustomed to it that Skyping a classmate into our classroom when they are absent is “just something we do”.  Check out this video of Caliope Isabel working with Margarita Reina in class today.  Margarita Reina was in Wisconsin, but has Skyped into Spanish class two times while she was away.  Today we put her on the iPad.  It was awesome.  The students were working in partners to practice our current vocabulary from chapter one in our books.  We have partner maps (of different Spanish-speaking countries) to choose our partners.  If Magarita Reina was their partner, normally they would have had to find a different person to work with…not today!  All they had to do was sit in front of the iPad and practice he vocabulary with her.  AWESOME!
